My life in NTU has just begun

and I would say its really diff from JC (oks. i know i am stating the obvious.)

I went for NBS orientation,

meeting people from all walks of life.

when i say all walks of life, i mean it.

its totally diff personality, behaviour, attitude.

some deserve my snide remarks

yet some deserve my utmost attention.

hahas. super extreme treatment.

Because of my exemption from Econs,

i picked up an elective.

"introduction to magical realism."

it sounds nice, soo magical.

but its LITERATURE!

the prof was seriously boring to the max

and my mind was flickering between fantasy and reality.

hahahas.

do you know that dreams are not fantasy?

becos you are conscious that you are dreaming.

whatever. hahahs.

anw, i can't give up on this elective

precisely becos there is no more electives left for me to choose.

on top of that,

my business cores are pretty much acceptable.

i love OB and Marketing.

more of human/society interaction

whereas stats is boring, boring and nothing but boring.

hahahas.

i have made some frens and my life is still going on.

and there's a part where it mentions briefly that fallen angels are condemned.
i do have differing opinions about that.
Fallen angels are not condemned,
but rather they are bearing the task of smuggling into the human world
and aid the humans with their kind heart.
Indeed, they are disguised. having hidden identity.
but they are still accepted somehow.
there is still a place for them.
so who knows?
your closest friend might be one of the 'fallen' angel.
they are there when you need them.
they are everywhere.
don't bother to seek them out.
they will be always by your side.

hey guys.

caught this movie together with IP MAN today.

i prefer Knight and Day.

the reason is simple.

it's a good action-packed movie with a hint of humour.

basically i am a big or i should say HUGE fan of Tom Cruise.

he's a hot hunk and loves the way he deals with rifles, guns and everything.

his swift actions makes you go WOW

and captures your full attention.

i truly appreciate this movie and many thumbs up.

oks. now is 10.40pm. and my fren is now on the plane to korea.

i am so envious of her. hahahas.

i have asked her to help me buy stuffs from korea

and guess what? my taste is so diff from others.

i told her to get me instant noodles!!

i know. its weird. but i want to try their spicy flavours!

I am currently reading the NIGHT WORLD by L.J.SMITH.
excellent writing. i was totally hooked on to it
such that i was reading & eating at the same time.
i was particularly in love with Book 2.
the soulmate part was intriguing.
i have never been through this, to the extent of pondering whether does soulmates exist?
i mean, c'mon! soulmates in the 21st century? people will be giving you a despise look.
but after reading the novel,
i am having a different point of view.
there is this traditional, old-fashioned self saying 'we live for ourselves. we need to be practical."
but the new self, contradicts this and argues 'humans need love. we need to be passionate."
we can't be practical yet passionate at the same time.
it's really not easy.
anw, the book mentions that when you meet your soulmate, that you will know he or she is the one for you,
the both of you will be trapped in a shimmering light, where words could not be expressed.
you will be able to see through the other half,
be it his feelings, mind, thinking, heart or even soul.
its as though both of your life are tangled together,
not in a complex manner but in a way where your need for each other is inexplicable.
i am quite thoughtful towards this reading
and maybe one day, in the near future,
i would be able to comprehend this theory
through real experience.

it just dawned on me that I have not been blogging lately.
okays. my life simply sucks.
if you have followed my Plurk,
you would have know nthat I am extremely dissatisfied with my job.
it makes me understand the reality of having to face an unreasonable boss.
i feel that she is a calculative person who never cares much about worker's welfare.
this job really enlightens me in a way whereby I am determined
to find a job that pays me well in the near future.
i need to be more superior than the others.
anyway, i need to get this off my chest.
i can't believe she scolded me today because of something i said to the customer.
i mean that has been the truth that i have spoken ever since i started working
and everyone says that.
but the unreasonable woman scolded me right infront of the customer.
at that point of time,
i felt like an ant being trampled on- with no dignity.
how can someone tolerate such scoldings?
i am at a loss. my colleague told me that maybe her intention was for me to leave.
and its saddening when you put in so much effort and hard work into this job.

Sometimes I wonder what is going to happen in the future?
What has been laid out for me?

honestly, I know I am not suitable for big changes.
thats not me. i know myself well enough to say that i want to live peacefully.
however, we are all being caught in this ramapant lifestyle.
something that we tried to resist but ultimately, we will fall back again.
it's draining us, killing us softly each and every day.
but we do not have the courage to fight against it.
I am not saying I am capable of doing that.
As a result, I envied those who have succeeded.
They are living for themselves, not for the others nor the society.
how courageous they are, putting up a strong front for their aims.
I admit I am jealous, yet hateful of my vulnerability.
The peace that I yearned, the serenity that I desired could not be found here.

hi people.
got back my A's result yst
and i am pleased to say that it was not bad (:
at least to me it was way beyond my expectation.
honestly speaking,
i was expecting all Cs.
and and when i flipped open my results,
i seriously just let out a scream.
cos i saw many As!! (:
and i PASSED my GP with a B!!
hahahas.
i told everyone that the examiners must be sleeping when they are marking my GP.
i mean,
my whole entire class plus my GP tutor knew my GP was horrible.
i even asked jingling for help during the last lap towards A's.
i am really very very happy with GP.
jingling was sooo happy for me
cos both of us were praying very hard that i can passed GP.
i am glad that i did not disappoint her (:
All the hard work has indeed paid off
except for *ahem*.
I am grateful to all my pjc teachers who have gone the extra mile to tutor me,
marked all my work and beared with my nonsense.
Let me thank all my respective subject teachers here:
1. Miss Tan (math tutor): Thanks for explaining every single steps to me and you have been really patient towards me. You taught me not to give up on my pure math (my weakest) and told me to keep on trying. Thanks so much.

2. Miss Tng (my CT & econs tutor): To me, you are the guiding light for our class. You never hesitate to teach us all that you know and your sacarsm really suits the personality of 08A06.
I thank you for not giving up on me and the 'A' for my econs is my reward for your dedication. Thanks!

not because of the religion that they preach,
but rather the meaning behind this movie.

yes. thats what I can summarise frm this movie.
indeed, people start losing faith in each other for multiple reasons.
be it greed, power, money, betrayal, hurt.
all these have changed or shaken our faith.
we no longer believe or simply,
we do not dare to believe anymore.
nobody wants to suffer from the pain inflicted,
causing us to lose hope in each other and sometimes,
on our life.
we don't actually want to lose faith
but the external pressure or internal conflict forces us

i doubt so.

okays. today was soooo not my day.

so we gave her a big jumbo bag to carry it.

that one small leave dropped frm the plant.
the next thing i know,
she was SCREAMING at me.
"SO YOU TELL ME HOW DO I CARRY THIS!!!
YOU CAN'T EXPECT ME TO CARRY IT IN THIS MANNER RIGHT?!
IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME DOING THIS?! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!
OH MY GOSH. SERIOUSLY. DO YOUR HAVE BRAINS OR NOT?!"
this accussation really gets me on my nerves.
i was on the verge of giving her a tight slap.
i told her in a calm manner that people usually wants us to deliver
and she told me that was a stupid excuse for my incompetence.
what the heck! stupid bitch.
if not for wanting this job, i would have screamed in her face!
then my collegue tried to help her tie the ruffia string for her to carry it
and she SNATCHED IT frm him and snapped at him.
"DO YOU REALLY KNOW HOW TO TIE THE STRING? (when my collegue has not even tie it yet.) YOU ARE SOO USELESS. I WILL DO IT MYSELF. GOSH!!!"
my collegue was sooo stunned. he told me she was a barbarian.

I don't know whether to count myself lucky or not.
becos i NEARLY got knocked down by a car twice today.
what a near-to-death experience.
one moment i was putting forth my foot to cross the road,
the next thing i knew the car was RIGHT INFRONT of my foot.
i got a super big shock
and quickly retrieved my foot back.
thank goodness for that close call.
i nearly lost my precious foot.
on top of that,
i think i saw my ex today.
i think so. why?
becos the moment my eyes rested on him,
i immediately shifted my glance away
and reassured myself that my eyes were playing a trick on me,
coupled with the lack of sleep.
hahahahas.
but there is this nagging feeling that tugs my heart,
as though it is yelling at me to turn back and double check.
in the end, i did turn to take a look.
but all i got was his backview.
so i am definitely not certain whether it is him or not.
however, he was standing at our once favourite waiting place
and i can't seem to ignore this feeling that it might actually be him.
seriously,

i find myself being sooo silly.
like whats the point of thinking whether it was him or not.

Let me summarise this week in a short note.
It's definitely hectic and stressful.

oh no. I cried infront of my GP teacher & relief teacher today.

I already know that I would have failed GP ,

13m for the first - fail.

Cip at AMK today. went there as early as 8am to start preparing for the arrival of the flag sellers.
the first batch of flag sellers - Bowen sec , republic poly , anderson sec & MGS.
hms , i am amazed by this one guy frm Bowen sec.
he was such a honest guy.
the tin he was holding on to give way
and he ran towards us for help.
we helped him tape up the tin & he said:"can you give me another tin ? I still want to continue doing."
we were soooo shocked cos his previous tin was already very very heavy.
From my perspection of him , he is definitely a rare gem in the society.
Also , there is a republic poly guy that leaves a deep impression on me.
he says he know me ; but i seriously don't.
and the adult supervisors with me were like -.-
hahahas.
we categorized him as crazy guy (:
one of the guy supervisors was sooo kind enough to teach me econs during our free period.
we started talking about macro & i learnt alot from him.
that's the first morning shift with him & joey.
for the second shift , it was lynn foo (the one in the pic above ) who accompany me throughout the afternoon.
We met people from YJC & they are quite a nice bunch of people.
one of the guys even know victoria ( my classmate ).

that is the old pair of goggles in my hands.it snaps when i was swimming & i have to purchase a new one - Topia brand. i would recommend it to people who are seeking for new googles. Honestly , swimming is indeed a sport that does not require you to sweat. but the bad thing is , you will have broad shoulders ! ): ahhhs. touch mine and you will know it.

Ok. I am worn out , totally.

I didn't sleep last night

cause the math formulas could not leave me alone.

It is stuck in my mind

& makes me think about it throughout the night.

As a result ,

I slapped myself awake for the math paper today.

Suprisingly , the math paper is easier compared to common test.

Is it because I got study ? Or is it just by luck ?

Think hopefully I might be able to get a B.

Something really really unpleasant happened to my class today.

An internal fight which I am clueless of.

Two boys "fight" against something.

Not a physical fight - but a fight of egoistic.

Honestly,

I don't know who is right & who is wrong.

But something I can say about this matter

is that I have never never seen the guy sooooooo angry before.

He is fuming mad , very very pissed off with that guy .

I don't know. I just hope that after a good sleep tonight ,

The weather is kinda hot recently

& I can't take it.

I hate my life.

everyday is just school and nothing more.

We have to study , attend lectures & tutorials

and then remedials & consulation.
All in just a day.
