and i am more supportive of Legion. not because of the religion that they preach, but rather the meaning behind this movie. "To continue to hold faith in the people around you." yes. thats what I can summarise frm this movie. indeed, people start losing faith in each other for multiple reasons. be it greed, power, money, betrayal, hurt. all these have changed or shaken our faith. we no longer believe or simply, we do not dare to believe anymore. nobody wants to suffer from the pain inflicted, causing us to lose hope in each other and sometimes, on our life. we don't actually want to lose faith but the external pressure or internal conflict forces us to abandon what we truly wish to do. is this the life we wish to lead? i doubt so. this movie had been thinking about my faith in others. i still believe that everyone is kind-hearted. that there are no scheming, cunning people around me. am i trying to deceive myself? probably. if one day, i give up on this faith of mine, i would have lost hope in everything. |
