Went to Orchard today for a sumptuous steamboat at Tanglin Mall.. It's super yummy and I feel sooo full that I skipped my dinner :D Oh yeas. Bought "Ottello" from Borders & I seriously think it's quite a nice text for literature. Hopefully can read before the surprise test that they will give when school reopens. Hahas. That's all for today. Attention, peeps ! I am going to blog more on my story for today. Enjoy ! (: YOur story goes like this... Everytime after recess, we have to report to the hall so that no one will be late for lesson. As such, our class will go off before Ben's class. Blame him for being a smart kid. Who ask him to be soooo smart ! Hahas. So, my best friends and I will take a longer route back to class so that I can catch Ben on the way back. Initially, on the way back, Ben was joking with his friends. But when he see me, he will immediately walked over to accompany me back to class. His best mates will start to jeer: "AHEY! Ben! Pang seh ahs ? Wahs. Choose girlfriend over brothers!!" Then everyone will start laughing and Ben retorted back: "Of course girlfriend more important right ? I will choose you if you wear skirt !" This time round, my best friends will laugh super loud, really very very loud :D After all those commotions, Ben and I will walk back to class together. Saturday night was a crazy one. Went to the Book Fest wiith my cousin and OH MY ! There are sooooo many books that I would love to buy. In the end, I spent like $35 on books... Seriously I am really broke. Hahas. Then we went Bugis for a heartening meal at Pasta Mania. Something funny happened over there between me and the cashier guy. Our Conversation: He: Hi. What would you like to order ? Me: Can I have Chicken Bolognese please ? He: Ok. What's your choice of noodles ? (Seriously, I didn't hear what he say because I was busy smsing) Me: (I was still in my own world and continued ordering) Can I have another Spicy Chicken too ? He: Sorry madam. What's your choice of noodles ? Me: (still deaf ) Another Combo C please ? He: (Laugh so hard that he got my attention) Madam. LOOK AT ME IN THE EYES. What's your choice of noodles ? Me: (suddenly realised what he was saying) OH. OH. So Sorry. Spaghetti for all. YOur story goes like this... I have been wanting to say this to you. Ben, You were once my joy, the sunshine of my life. You love me and treat me like your little princess. You said that every princess need their prince and you said you wanted to be Ada's prince. Those guys in my class wanted me to vote for them. Although Ben doesn't seem interested in this competition, I know that deep inside his heart, he will want me to vote for him. I was like:"Oh man. Can I don't vote ?" Guess what I did in the end ? I voted another guy from another class. Hahahahas. Anyway, they won't know who I voted. So when Ben asked me, I will smile and nod,:"Yeahs. Went out with Yi Fang today. We shopped at Far East and went around shopping for my yellow dress..but I can't find one that suits me. So we decided to go Bugis for another round of shopping (: Before that, it's important to fill our stomach before a shopping craze. We went to eat at "BatterFish" & started tackling the food with our poor cutting skills. Seriously, you should see how we eat. We were trying to cut the fish and chicken without it flying off the plate. Haha. The scene was really hilarious and many eyes were set upon our table. But we ignored it :D Then Jiali, HuiQi and their two friends came along as they intend to shop for HuiQi's birthday. Omg. You know what. One of their friend seriously don't look like he is 20. I mean he look even younger than me. Awws. Now then I realise I look freaking old. Haha. The plan was to ask me to distract HuiQi away while they shop for her gift. HuiQi and I wandered around and instead of finding my dress, we keep on commenting about guy's shirts.. Apparently, guys have different style of dressing and we started discussing non-stop. Shades were our favourites and we just keep on trying all sorts of designs. HuiQi looked so cute when the shades covered almost her face. Determined to find my dress, we went Bugis Street. Oh my. Both of us felt super giddy after shopping cause there are sooooo many clothes and shoes. But I STILL CAN'T FIND MY DRESS!! ): Lady Luck was shinning on me because I SAW MY SEC SCH BEST FRIEND! (: I was so suprised when she called my nickname and she looks the same. Haha. We screamed and hugged one another as though we are long-lost friend. Everything is still the same. The geniune smile, the actions, the words.. It feels familiar. Suddenly, I realised that this feeling cannot be found in PJC. JC life is different. Only the fittest can survive. And fake smiles are just everywhere. It's sooo sad.. Anyway, we gave up and I didn't buy my dress ): Nevermind. At least I saw my best friend ! Haha. Yi Fang and I was sooo tired that we keep on yawning and yawning on the train.. Oh. Besides that. I want to say something about the JC scandal. Regarding ACJC & SAJC. To the people who have negative remarks towards them: GET A LIFE ! Don't make a fuss. They are WILLING PARTIES! W-I-L-L-I-N-G ! YOur story goes like this... We kept a low profile about our relatonship as we feel that it's not neccessary to have the publicity. Only our close friends knew about it. He was really a nice guy. I knew I have mentioned it lots of time but he is a Mr Nice Guy. During recess, when my friends and I walked past his table, all of his friends will start nudging him and one of them will started saying: "Hey, Ben, Your Gf is here !" Seriously, Both of us felt so embarrassed and when I walked past him, he will catch my hands and gave it a tight squeeze. Hahas. Wierd couple, isn't it ? Knowing that we can't eat together, my friends will sit close to their table so that we can have space to look at one another. My friends said that it's silly that couples don't eat together. But my stand is couples should have their own space and friends. We can't possibily hang out every minute as our love will start to dissipate into thin air. We were a cool couple, if you do realise. Our mind think alike and we want our friends to feel that we did not neglect them. We still have our life and friends. The world does not only consists both of us. Some movies to share for this week. Went to watch Quantum of Solace, My best friend's girl and Bangkok Dangerous... Comments for the Quantum of Solace is that it is just full of thrills as you know, it's JAMES BOND MOVIE... I think the director is soooo professional that I could barely catch a glimpse of what is happening during all those exchange of gunshots & everything. But it's the best movie I have watch for this week. As for My best friend's girl.. Seriously, this movie can't be watched.. It's full of vulgarities and the movie is all about sex. I mean, c'me on, sex ? It's just sooo plain boring to see people cursing one another and boasting about their sex experiences. My verdict: Never ever watch this movie! :/ Bangkok Dangerous was not that bad but I don't like the ending cause everything just ended hastily. Anyway, the YOGURT PLACE have not called me yet, so most probably is I lost this job again ): Nevermind, at least I can focus on preparing for nxt year's A level though. That's all for today. Benjamin is just like this. He is not a guy who is good at words, but carries himself well to care about others. People complained that their guy does not treat their friends well but he was not like that. He knew all my friends and often said hi to them. Appreciating all that he has done, I made an effort to know his friends too. Everyday, I surfed the net on the latest news about soccer competition and I will read up on articles about EURO World Cup Champion League. This is so that I can have a common topic to talk about. My friends will say:"Ada. You need not change your lifestyle for him. Don't do anything that you dislike." I reassured them, telling them: "I am not becoming another person just because I love him. Yesterday was a slacking day for me. Band was from 1.30-7.30. So I went there for spring cleaning first. OMG! The whole band room is filled with dust, dust & DUST! D: And we cleaned and cleaned.. until 4.30. Ms Chan, our conductor came, and we just start our usual full band. However, not many people turned up for yst practice.. Guess is because of their results.. Ms Chan told us that NJC might be playing the same song as us for SYF and we were like -.- I mean, its hard to judge on both band's standard when it comes to playing the same pieces. Apparently, the NJC conductor is unable to rent the score. Hahas. The song was damn nice and so impactful that my hair stood when I heard the recording. If only we can play like this.. But we lacked of many many percussion players for the songs. Yeas. When I came home at night, my mum broke the news to me that the library work, which I was supposed to go with my cousin and bro, was not intending to employ me. I was like wth. Seriously, I almost swear it out. I mean, I have waited for an entire 2 WEEKS since I finished school & I have rejected all my friends' job offers because of this. Now then they tell me they need PEOPLE WHO CAN COMMIT FOR LONG PERIOD AND DOES NOT APPLY FOR LEAVE FREQUENTLY. Hellos? If that's the case, why can't you bloody hell tell me freaking earlier ? I think this private library has no credibility at all. They have NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY and wants CHEAP LABOUR ! Thats why they employed my bro and my cousin. I was soooooo angry with them that I can't even sleep. So Cheryl and I talked on the phone and I just told her all my fustration. After talking and gossiping with her, I felt soooo much better. Thanks Cheryl ! You are the best ! :D Today, I went to find a job at westmall. And the employee spoke to me in broken english sentences,"Ehs...Boss not in...Students.. NO. Don't want." I can barely understand her and I was thinking.. why would someone wants to employ her and not some other educated people ? I guess it's cheap labour again. Anyway, I read the ads today and saw that the YOUGURT PLACE is employing people. So I ask my bro to call and that person said both of us can come for the interview on mon at lot one! Yipees! It's also near my school and home (: That's all for today. Enjoy my story. YOur story goes like this... The action-packed movie was like a blur to me.. and I hate watching those bloody scenes. So, I was really tense up and kept pulling the ends of my shirt. Perhaps you sense my tension, you slipped your hands over and held me tight in your big hand. Ohhhh my gooooossssh !!!!!! Its the first time you held my hands. I turned and saw a blush creeping up your cheeks. In my mind, I was like:"HAHAHAHAHAHAS!" But I controlled myself from laughing in the middle of the movie. I don't know is it because of your touch, I actually went through the movie without closing my eyes. Thanks alot. I appreciate it and you HELD MY HANDS! (: After that, we shopped around and you continued to hold my hands, as though not wanting to let go. Then, my insecurity aroused again. I realised that being with you, we will always attract lots of unwanted gazes. Some are friendly, Some are not. My sensitive ears overheard one group of girls saying: "Hey. That guy is soooo handsome. If only he is my boyfriend. Look, he got a girlfriend. So incompatiable!" Hearing that makes my heart uncomfortable. I knew I should ignore those gossips but their words seemed to left a permanent mark on my heart.. My action of withdrawing my hand cause a shock on your face. He asked,"What happen ? Is there anything wrong ?" My silence made him worry. Then he heard the gossips from the girls. He took my hands again and give me a strong reassured look. He said this, which I will remeber for the rest of my life: "Never bother what other people comment about. The mouth is theirs and you can't do anything to it. The only thing you can do is to put your trust on me. Perhaps you think my pretty face is your worry. However, this face of mine is only for you to look at and appreciate. Cause I know that you don't like me just for this pretty face." I was sooooo at a loss of words and at that point of time, I know he understand me more than anyone do. YTo be continued...
Today is a depressing day cos its the promotion day. I know that some of my friends are mentally prepared that they will get retained. However, the glimpse of hope of getting promoted still exist in their face before today. When my civic tutor announced those who are supposed to go lecture hall, I am already on the brink of crying. When I heard Lynn & Steven's names, imagine my shock and surprise. I really really don't understand at all. Some people don't deserve to get promoted.. why not give a chance to those who have repented for the better ? When I walked past my eye candy's class, I seriously almost cried. He wasn't in the class. Possibility that he got retained or conditional promotion. Please let it be conditional promotion.. While waiting outside for Lynn, Steven, Cheryl & Huiqi, I was feeling sooo numb. I was thinking:"What am I going to console them about ? Have I really helped them all this while ? Or maybe I should have done more to help them ?" And I started crying. I just don't feel happy that I got promoted. I can only feel the pain of others, nothing but that. When I went to LT1 to persuade Cheryl not to take H2 history, I saw Noella. She smiled to me and said this:"Ada. I retain lehs." I just cried infront of her. I admire her courage for breaking the news to me with a smile but I just couldn't control myself. Another friend gone. I know that everything won't be the same anymore. To all my friends who can't make it for next year: Cheryl (She is my best mate!): It has been great knowing you. I know I should have done more to help you. You are a cheerful girl who always smile from the bottom of your heart. If you feel that you can do much better with history, then by all means take it with pride. It's your choice and you do know that Yi Fang & I will help you no matter what. Let your genuine smile change your life for next year and embrace it with confidence :D PS: Rest assured that I will take care of you in orientation. Lynn (my good friend in class): Seriously, without you next year, I really can't spell the word Fun anymore. You are the strongest girl I ever met. You discovered your mistake and have the courage to change it. Although it's too late, you have finally woken up. You will always be my good friend and show the world what you, Lynn, is capable of. It's more than that (: Noella (my "crazy" bandmate): You know what. Noella, from what I remember, you are always smiling. You can make me laugh until I cried from intense laughing. You were calm when you break the news to me. One glance at you and I knew you were crying in your heart. Just cry if you need to. You know I will always be there whenever you need me. I hope that the next time I see you, You will still be the smiling Noella (: PS: BE BRAVE! HuiQi (a friend whom I really enjoyed talking with): I know that you are mentally prepared that you will get retained. And I knew that you have no regrets. People always say that you are quiet and finds it hard to talk to you. However, I know that it's not that hard at all if they have the heart to talk to you. We can talk non-stop while walking to Lot One and I feel that the inner you is filled with many emotions. You never fail to amaze me with your jokes and I never regret knowing you. The way she talked is always soooo hilarious and I almost choked on my laughter. Instead of sympathising me, she gave me her "special look","Why you laugh like that ? Funny mehs ?" While we were waiting for the movie to begin, we started chit-chatting about some movies that we have seen before. Suddenly, he gave me his sly look and said:"Ada. You know what? I just realised that you don't need to pay for the movie ticket." I was like being so freaking naive and said:"Are you serious ? It's free ?" And I missed out on the grin that flashed past his face. I was sooo happy that I keep on smiling and he just couldn't control himself anymore. He started laughing hysterically and I turned and looked at him, wondering what's wrong with him. He rubbed away the tears in his eyes and said between his laughs: "Children under the height of 1.2m is free of charge." At first I didn't get it. Then I saw the signbord infront of us and I was like WHAT THE !!!! Seriously, you should see both our faces. One is laughing and One is fuming. I just gave him a punch on his arm & he started running away from me. In the end, he came back to me and said:" I am sooo sorry. But it's fun to see the emotions on your face." And like a clown, he just "popped" out a popcorn for me. I was a forgiving woman when it comes to my favourite food, especially sweet popcorn (: And then we went in for the action-packed movie. Perhaps is because of my band practices. Oh gosh. can you believe that I have band until 7.30pm for some practices ? ): Today was a funny day. I have been having a bad sore throat since yesterday and didn't really thought much about it.. Until today morning, when I woke up, my voice was soooo manly that it scared my bro. He was like:"Are you a man in disguise? But I don't see an adam apple on your throat ." I was like -.- and practically ignored him. So, I went to eat at westmall and bought my favourite cookies, LITTLE JERRY'S CHOCOLATE PARADISE! Omg ! the cookies are awesome. Seriously awesome. your should go try it :D Hahas. I discovered this yesterday. When people need your help, they will go all means to beg you. And you have to help them, despite the fact that you are busy. However, in return that you need their help, they will come up with zillion of excuses to shoo you all. In life, everyone is selfish and the nice people often suffers for these selfish people. YOur story goes like this.. During our study date, you were engrossed in your physic textbook. And I was busy daydreaming :D You started writing on your book and I caught sight of your handwriting. Oh gosh. Those who know me know that nobody can win me in my handwriting. But as a guy, your handwriting is almost as neat as mine ! I was sooo shocked that I just stared at you, as though I am looking at a wierdo. Haha :D My praises for your beautiful handwriting make you so embarrassed that your face is sooooooooooooo red ! (: After that I was so restless that you closed your book and suggested we went for a movie. I was like:"OH YES! No studying of horrible physic !" And you just smiled and ruffled my messy hair. There are alot of movies screening on that day and being me, I just love watching cartoon. But your opinion differs from mine as like any other guys, you love thrills and mystery. We started "arguing" and decided to "scissors, paper, stone". Awwwws. I lose to him & he was so happy that he won me. In the end, we settled for "Mission Impossible 3". YTo be continued...
